Specialization

ACM’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) establish technical communities within their respective specialties, publishing newsletters and magazines, encouraging excellence through multiple recognition programs, and organizing conferences and activities on a local-to-global scale.

The ACM Student Chapter at ASU supports future participation in SIGs by facilitating interest exploration through its own events (specializing on broader trends and opportunities within industry and academia) as well as co-sponsored events with collaborating ASU computing clubs (each with one or more technical specializations).
